Featured in St. Louis Bride Magazine

I’m excited to be featured in the July Issue of Saint Louis Bride Magazine – Real Moments page 84. We had a fun night tonight at the magazine release party at the Marriot downtown. Check it out here: http://bridestl.com/browse-the-magazine/

David and Katie @ St. Gabriel, Forest Park and Downtown Sheraton

David and Katie gave me a chance to try out Creve Coeur Park for their engagement session, and since then I’ve been back a few times based on requests from other couples that saw their session.  I couldn’t wait to work with David and Katie again on their ridiculously perfect fall Wedding day. I was also excited to see Melissa and…

Kyle and Melissa @ Graham Chapel + Hyatt Downtown St. Louis

Kyle and Melissa were excited for months about securing Graham Chapel at Washington University, as they should have been…you can’t reserve it more than 12 months in advance, but if you’re lucky enough to get a spot, the architecture and lighting are amazing.  Kyle and Melissa took an opportunity to say thank  you to their wedding…

David + Rachel @ The Conservatory and Persimmon Woods Golf Club

David and Rachel traveled all the way from Tasmania, Australia to get married here in Saint Louis!  Rachel is originally from Saint Louis and met David in Australia. Both are talented photographers… Rachel is a portrait photographer and David is a landscape photographer, and showcases his work in his art gallery.  Check them out here: http://www.davidmurphyphotography.com/…

John + Kathleen @ Private Ceremony + Robust Wine Bar

John and Kathleen had the perfect setting for a private ceremony at their garden in Webster. It was great to have close access for images of their vows, that they both came up with (and made it a really special moment). Talk about romantic… John surprised Kathleen after the ceremony with a horse and carriage…

Jason + Kelly @ Sqwires

Jason and Kelly headed to warm Riviera Maya for their Wedding ceremony, then continued their celebration back here in chilly Saint Louis with friends and family at Sqwires in Lafayette Square.  I love getting to see different locations and venues for each assignment, and I really liked the cocktail layout for the night – plenty…

Adam + Elizabeth

I learned that Adam and Elizabeth started dating back when Adam was tutoring Elizabeth in school!  They made the most of their Wedding day with an early morning start until the last song, and beyond, when Elizabeth’s family refused to leave the dance floor, and sang their own family songs for 15 minutes!   To say they are party animals would…

Greg and Charity

What was looking to be a rainy day, turned in to a great opportunity for us to use soft lighting and color to our advantage.  Greg and Charity are now settled in Chicago, but had an amazing Wedding day in Tower Grove Park and Lafayette Square/Sqwires.  One of my favorite parts of the day was standing…

John and Hannah

John and Hannah met at Union Station, made the trek past Bush Stadium right before a Cardinals playoff game on their way to the Archgrounds, and then arrived at the Franklin Room for their reception.  I also heard John woke up early the next day to get to a track meet – talk about covering…

Patrick and Becca

Patrick and Becca brought some fun and clever ideas to their big day, which turned out great!  I’m still not sure where they got those giant boxing gloves.  They also chose an exciting venue for their reception – Home Nightclub at the Ameristar Casino.

Matt and Julie

I’m finally back to the blog, and am looking forward to posting a handful of sessions over the next few weeks.  Let’s get this party started with Matt and Julie… who proved that a little rain shouldn’t stop the fun on your Wedding day.

Daniele and Laura

Daniele and Laura wanted a fun and artistic venue for their Wedding, and chose the right place!  The late artist Bob Cassilly’s City Museum is overwhelmingly creative, which allowed us plenty of unique backgrounds to choose from.  Daniele and Laura also brought an exciting mix of both Italian and American tradition, which made for an awesome party!…

Chris and Courtney

Chris and Courtney first caught the attention of historic Main Street St. Charles, then headed downtown to Union Station and took over the Grand Ballroom for their reception.

Todd and Kathleen

Todd and Kathleen had a beautiful fall day for their Wedding, and their reception at the recently reopened Bevo Mill was a blast!  Fun Fact – The Bevo Mill was a gathering location and halfway stop for August A. Busch, Sr.  between The Anheuser Busch Brewery and Grant’s Farm, his home.  I never knew!
